The UEFA Executive Committee will decide on Wednesday where and how the Champions League and Europa League will be played out.
In both competitions, final tournaments without second legs in the outstanding knockout rounds are under discussion . Lisbon is the preferred venue for the last games of the Champions League, while in the Europa League a joint application by the cities of North Rhine-Westphalia, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Duisburg and Gelsenkirchen is considered promising. UEFA also has to continue the competition for the Women's Champions League.
The men's EM, postponed to 2021, will also be an issue. The tournament is to be held in twelve cities, and in several cities it was questionable whether they would remain as hosts. Munich has confirmed its participation. The U21 European Championship also needs a new date, which is now scheduled to take place in 2022 instead of 2021.
