The soccer women of the 1st FFC Frankfurt will play under the roof of the men's Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The clubs sealed their merger , which had been in preparation for months, on Tuesday . The aim is to bundle the activities in women's and girls' soccer and to create optimal conditions for talented players.
The women of the 1st FFC Frankfurt have won German championships seven times and won the Champions League four times. Now the first and second team of the club are integrated into the soccer AG of Eintracht. It is planned to register up to five women's teams in the top five leagues in the 2020/21 season.
