The US Open tennis tournament in New York takes place despite the corona pandemic.
This was announced by New York governor Cuomo. The games should therefore be held without spectators and under strict hygiene and safety requirements. Among other things, it is planned that the players will be accommodated in an airport hotel and only allowed to go to the games in the city. The US Open is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 13. They are part of the so-called four Grand Slam tournaments, the most important in tennis.
